OBJ gets UN job

Previous President Olusegun Obasanjo has been selected into the United
Nations (UN) High-Level Advisory Board on Mediation alongside 17 other present and previous worldwide pioneers.

The Secretary-General, Antonio Gutierrez had in September declared the foundation of the board to give him exhortation on intervention activities and back particular intercession endeavors the world over.

The Board is made out of 18 present and previous worldwide pioneers, senior authorities and famous specialists who unite an unparalleled scope of experience, abilities, information and contacts.

Additionally delegated into the board are Roza Otunbayeva (Kyrgyzstan), Michèle Pierre-Louis (Haiti), José Manuel Ramos-Horta (Timor-Leste), Gert Rosenthal (Guatemala) and Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby (United Kingdom).
