islamisation plot is real CAN tells Osibanjo

UMBRELLA group of Christians in Nigeria, the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has responded to an announcement credited to Vice
President, Prof Yemi Osinbanjo, asking him to quit undermining the Christian body in his journey to soak religious pressure in Nigeria and win the core of the legislature of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Vice President had a week ago expressed at an open capacity that there was no motivation to Islamise Nigeria and that nobody could do as such, similarly as he castigated Christian pioneers for raising false caution on the issue.

In the mean time, the South zone of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has lauded Southern governors for their resolutions on the seething verbal confrontation on rebuilding the country for compelling administration.

The governors were praised amid a key meeting of religious pioneers in Warri, Delta State, which was gone to by chosen pioneers of CAN, director of the gathering, Archbishop God-Dowell Avwomakpa, who complimented the Southern governors for their drive to meet after more than 12 years in the wild.

As per an announcement marked by the Special Adviser on Media to Archbishop God-Dowell Avwomakpa Ovie Edomi, the Pentecostal Archbishop portrayed the current Lagos summit of the 17 Southern governors where financial federalism was embraced as a correct positive development and a flag that there is promise for the future age.

The CAN director, said "Now that men in initiative positions from the 17 Southern states have met up to concede to rebuilding, the obligation is on the offspring of God to reclaim the land through powerful supplications, diligent work and individual give up."

While responding to the claim, of Osinbajo, CAN President, His Eminence, Rev Samson Olasupo Ayokunle said the Vice President was talking tongue in cheeks, repeating that the plot by President Muhammadu Buhari Government to Islamise Nigeria was genuine, asking Osinbajo to cross check his certainties a long time before making open comments on the issue. In an announcement marked by his Special Assistant o(Media and Communications), Pastor Adebayo Oladeji, the CAN president said the Vice President has no reality before hopping to his conclusion.He said most Christian pioneers in Nigeria were shocked the comments credited to Osinbajo in the media and had looked for the mediation of the authority of CAN to set the record straight with archived certainties specifying plot by the present government to islamise Nigeria.
